Important Notes from meeting Effective Immediately:

*Changes regarding requirements to become a Comprehensive Assessor. (see Employment Opportunities) or page one of Highlighted Handbook

*Requirements of items that MUST be in the assessment.  (See Handbook )

*A licensed practitioner's signature will now verify the assessment is accurate and complete and not just concurring with diagnosis; thus, any unlicensed assessor will pay for the license practitioner to review your entire report by paying $1.00 for every service hour on each assessment (ex. 20 hour report will cost you $20).  No need to write a check, the amount will be deducted from your report.  Should you desire to have a licensed practitioner other than one provide by COPE, please contact Bob for approval. Please complete checklist and attach to your first draft to briefly acknowledge to the licensed practitioner that you have completed requirements and your assessment is accurate. 

*All non-licensed staff will be required to to have a minimum of 30 hours of documented training dedicated to relevant child and family treatment issues every two years.  All certifications of training will be provided to secretary of the Comp. Assessment Dept, Margaret Ramos

*Activity time can now be billed in 15 minute increments.

*At this time we will begin using DSM V diagnostic codes Oct. 1, please prepare for such.
